Liquified Petroleum Gas Association South Africa (LPGSA) was established in 1987 as a non-profit organisation that represents companies involved in LPG installations, distribution, retailing, hardware and appliances. LPGSA’s mandate is to promote the sustainable growth of the liquefied petroleum gas industry through compliance with safety and best business. It offers training of LPG installers, certification of hardware and appliances, and several benefits to its members.

To promote the group interests of all marketers, distributors, dealers, appliance retailers, installers and users of liquefied petroleum gas and ensure the safe use of LPG.

To ensure the sustainable growth of the liquefied petroleum gas industry through safety compliance and best business practices.
We will accomplish our mission by:
- Ensuring that our members have an industry which is capable of meeting all the requirements of the OHS Act and all other regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring that safe operating and community protective practices are maintained.
- Promoting the safe use of LPG to all existing and potential users.
- Liaising with government and other stakeholders on regulatory and other issues.
